1. Its been nearly a year since the protests i went to in London. Now i have been asked to help Young Labour find ways to encourage young people to take part in campaigning in politics. I have a meeting with the Labour Parliamentary candidate for Corby Andy Sawford and a representative from the Youth Parliament and thought i would see if anyone on Tumblr had any ideas.
The only time i have seen young people active in politics were at events like the student fee demo’s where we saw a generation who were supposed to be turning away from politics come out in 60,000 on the streets of London. Now the hype had died down i am back with the problem that people my age have a negative view when it comes to politics. I want to know why that is and how i can change this.
I want to help this be the generation be the making of the next Labour Government
so any ideas tumblr ?

  2. £27,000 for an education

As it stands more than 80% of university’s who have published 2012 fees plan to Charge the maximum £9,000 in tuition fee’s. Now lets see where the money to fund the loans are going to come from. So even the very few people who think that selling out our generations University students to fund the deficit its actually going to cost the country more to fund the unexpected number of University’s who will have to charge £9K to keep a decent level of education to fight the cut backs.
